For Gentaro specifically (or, rather, many are heavily implied but not confirmed because Hypmic hates me specifically), we have bullying, poverty, child abandonment, sibling loss, near-death experiences, near-death experiences of friends, cloning, identity issues, human experimentation, revenge (against the government!) and... I think that's about it. Many of these won't be brought up unless it's with very close CR, but I may touch on it in bracket text.
